Muriel Lanciault began painting in watercolors nine years ago, but it was not until her retirement from a career in education that she found the time to study with some leading artists in the Charleston/Summerville area and the time to practice, practice, practice new techniques. Muriel now paints in both watercolor and oil.

She lives in Summerville. She has four grown children and eight grandchildren .
